WHAT IT IS
Analyst is the business analysis module in ATLICH™. It supports natural-language questions against the available workspace information, read-only analysis, result review and saved questions. It also brings shared metric definitions and campaign data into the analysis workflow.
WHY IT MATTERS
A dashboard shows the numbers chosen in advance. Teams also need to investigate questions that arise during the day: which customers match a condition, which invoices are overdue or what happened in a campaign. Analyst provides a place to ask those questions and inspect the resulting information.
WHO IT IS FOR
Start with the part of the work your team needs to organise.
Investigate operational questions without starting a new manual report for every query.
Explore activity, compare available facts and prepare team reviews.
Save useful analysis and retain the evidence alongside the result.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Explore the tools that support this workflow. Availability follows your workspace, role and configuration.
Ask a focused question in ordinary language about the information available in your workspace.
The analysis workflow is designed to read the relevant data rather than change the underlying business records.
Review the evidence attached to an answer so the conclusion can be checked against its supporting information.
Use the result-detail filter to narrow the records returned by an analysis.
A semantic layer provides shared definitions for metrics, helping dashboards and analysis use consistent meaning.
Keep reusable questions and evidence snapshots, review report output and export available campaign data as CSV.
HOW IT WORKS
Use a clear sequence, keep the information current and review the work with the people responsible for it.
Go to AnalystChoose what you want to understand and include useful conditions, such as a location, status or period.
Read the result and inspect the evidence. Check that the scope matches the question you intended to ask.
Filter the returned records or refine the question when you need a narrower view.
Keep useful analysis for later review, or use the available report and export options for the next discussion.
AN EXAMPLE IN PRACTICE
A manager asks which invoices are overdue. Analyst returns the available result and supporting information. The manager reviews the records, narrows the view where needed and saves the analysis for the review meeting. The team then decides what to do in the relevant operational module.
The finding can be discussed together with the information that supports it.
They support different tasks. Dashboards provide predefined views, while Analyst lets you investigate a question and inspect its result and evidence.
The analysis workflow uses read-only queries. Operational changes should be made through the relevant workspace tools and permissions.
The module includes saved analysis for reusable questions, results and evidence snapshots.
Check whether the relevant data is present and accessible, and whether the question is specific enough. Inspect the evidence and refine the question rather than assuming missing information.
